17/108 Woodbine Cottage

II

Detached house. Mid-late C17; early C18 rebuilding. Random
rubble and dressed limestone; ashlar, artificial stone and
rendered chimneys; stone slate roof, concrete tile to rear. Two-
storey with attic. Front: 2-window fenestration to rebuilt part
to right, all 2-light chamfered mullioned casements, one with
hoodmould. Central doorway with Regency porch on rendered base
walls, tent roof. Earlier part to left has doorway with gabled
porch hood; C20 casement and gabled eaves-mounted dormer. Three
ridge-mounted chimneys. Rear: single, 2 and 3-light mullioned
casements to rear. Large concrete block-built raking buttress.
Off-centre attic casement to south gable end. Interior not
inspected.
