North part of former farmhouse, divided into 2 cottages both called
Yew Tree Cottage, south part completely altered and not of special
interest. Possibly C16. Containing three pairs of crucks,
probably raised crucks, exposed on north end. Timber framed but
completely rendered. Steep pitched roof in double Roman tiles
formerly thatched, with large rendered ridge stack with offset,
raised in brick. True dormer or small gable on west side with
former 3-light oriel on brackets, now flush glazed but with 2
vertical timber mullions and tiled top remaining. Fenestration
otherwise of C19 or C20 with small gabled porch and half-glazed 4-
panel door to east.
