House, now bank. C17, perhaps some C16 remnants. Painted stone, stone
slate roof. Two storeys and attic; small glazed dormer, right over 3 cross-
mullioned wood C17 windows; and at ground floor two C20 display windows:
between these deep recess approached by 3 steps, and late C20 panelled
door. To right is arched throughway, and incised on the archivolt 'BAPTIST
CHAPEL JAN 1 1811': the chapel (not listed) lies behind the premises. Pair
of iron gates with simple bar overthrow. A deep wing with Welsh slate roof,
has large stack with ashlar base, the upper part rendered. Interior: deep
chamfered and stopped beam, some chamfered joints; to right is large blocked
fireplace with flat chamfered opening, also left, another with beaded mould
and central keystone.
