House in row. C16 or C17. Rubble plinth, braced boxed timber frame with
plaster panels, stone slate roof with ashlar stack left, One storey and
attic, 2-windowed, gabled dormers with leaded 2 -light casements over C20
2-light casements with transoms plank door with strap hinges, far right.
Interior much modified, but some original beams and joists at ground
floor. This appears to have been built at the same time as No 68 (q.v.) )
adjoining. There is now no No 70.
