House, end of row in street frontage. Early C18, much modified. Large dressed
square limestone blocks, concrete tile roof. Simple near-symmetrical plan set
with raised platform and railing to street. Two storeys and attic, 2 windows;
3-light flush chamfer mullion casements under continuous hood; an extra single
light added to left of C20 door in plain surround. First floor has 3-light
chamfered mullion casements, wide spaced, and well down from eaves; two roof
lay-lights. Plain return wall, left, lean-to at back; gable stack, left. Full
width of front delicate wrought iron railing in 4 panels, returned with gate at
left end, similarly detailed, and giving access to level raised pavement
retained by rubble wall.
