Lodge, by gates to

Lodge. Mid C19. Ashlar; brick chimneys, stone slate roof. Three
bays, one room deep, 1 1/2 storeys; projecting central porch.
Projecting quoins to corners main block; 2-light casement window,
small panes, with hoodmould on right. Porch, plastered arched
recess on right return; half-glazed door in front, 6 glass panels,
2 flush below, 4-centred arch with hoodmould. Coat-of-arms in
gable. To left window as on right. Swept stone eaves, bullnose
edge interrupted by plain blocks, stone running up slope of roof to
lead eaves gutter. Parapet gable to porch, similar lower section.
Hipped roof to main block, central chimney, ashlar base, brick top;
brick chimney from eaves, front right corner; gabled dormer right
return, 2-light casement. Forms group with entrance gates, (q.v.).
Late C20 addition to rear not of special interest.
