School. Mid C19. Brick, with stone dressings, upper parts timber-frame with
plaster infill, old plain tile roof. 6 bay, 1 1/2 storey with projecting wings
at end of house part end and at one but end bay of school, residence in L 2 bays.
L bay projects forward half-s-bay. Beside it 4-panel top glazed door. Beside
3-light window. Over coved plaster jetty. In L bay 4-light casement, above
toothed brick string and in half-hipped gable 3-light casement. Over other bay
2-light in half-hipped dormer. All windows leaded. Before next bay external
chimney on front, tapering to 2 shafts. Next 2 bays and end bay have 5-light
basement with toothed cill string. Between projecting schoolroom with large
4-light transomed window with oillstring and half-timbered gable. Roof at R
end overhanging on stone brackets. At L roof hipped with another external
brick stack on end.
