C18 or earlier. Facade faced with roughcast. Steeply pitched hipped thatched
roof carried low to 1 storey height at rear. 2 storeys. 3 windows, early C19
casements. Off centre chimney and off centre modern porch. South end rebuilt
or reclad red brick wall.
No 158 forms a group with Nos 153 to 157 (odd), the street boundary wall at No
153 the former barn to south of No 157 and Nelson Cottages. (No 157 and Nelson
Cottages are buildings of local interests).
