SU 5828 CHERITON BRANDY MOUNT

11/35 Brandy Mount Cottage

GV II

House formerly 3 cottages. Late C18 possibly with earlier core. Flint with brick
dressings, thatched roof. Originally 3 2 bay 2 storey cottages, with C19 outshot
to left and C20 extension to right. Central door has C20 gabled brick porch, other
doors replaced by 2-light casements matching other windows. Each cottage had, to
one side of door, on each floor, 2-light casement and on other side single casement.
All openings have segmental heads and windows are leaded. Roof hipped and swept
down at left. Ridge stacks over party wall between cottages.
