Tollhouse, now cottage. Early C19, probably earlier. Colourwashed brick and
some flint, old plain tile roof. Single storey and attic, 4 bays and C20 2 bay
single storey extension added to right. Blocked doorways to right of centre
and at left end, 3 early C19 2 and 3-light leaded casements with cambered heads.
To left of centre hipped dormer with 2-light casement. Roof half-hipped with
C18 centre ridge stack. Used as tollhouse on Winchester to Petersfield Turnpike,
1825.
