Coaching inn, with a C19 fronting of an older building. Stucco, with a
tile roof. 2 storeys and attic, 4 windows. Wide symmetrical front (south),
altered at the east side; parapet with coping stone and moulded cornice, 1st
floor bands, stone cills, plinth. 2 dormers with hipped roofs. Sashes in
exposed frames, at the east side is a 2-storeyed angular bay, with at the
ground-floor a window (former entrance) on each side, set below moulded heads
with brackets, and linked by a cill band. The central (former carriage) ent-
rance has a Tuscan Order, with a panel above incised 'Market Inn 1767', and
a golden bell motif within an arched frame; the opening has been narrowed by
diagonal boarding, containing a double-door.
