Godwin House, and
The Old Bakehouse

GV II

House and shop. C18, mid C19. Stucco, with a tile roof. 2 storeys and attic,
2 windows. Victorian sashes, within an angular bay at the south side: one
flat-roofed dormer. Early C19 double shop front of 2 angular bays, with
moulded cornice and sloping frieze, 6 panelled (2 top-glazed) door. Old 6-
panelled (2 top-glazed) door at the north side, within a plain frame enclosing
a plain fanlight; this is the entry to a passageway, leading to rear-premises
(former bakehouse).
