The Limes

GV II

House, previously bakery. C16, C18 & C19. Timber-frame with brick infill
and rebuilt ground floor, later parts colour-washed brick, roof slated.
C16 3 bay building end on to road with C19 shop attached to road end and
C18 range attached to side of centre bay with projecting cross-wing at
end. Road front 1½ storey, 2 bay centre range with projecting bay each
end. At right, in front of C16 bay, single storey C19 shop with two 18-
pane bow windows either side of half glazed door with rectangular fanlight
above. Overhanging low pitch roof with moulded bargeboard. Centre range
has C19 door at each end, with central 3-light casement. Above are 2 C19
gablet dormers with 2-light casements. Left wing has 2 3-light casements.
Wing roofs are. half hipped with ridge stack at right end of centre range
and large ridge stack to shop. Inside behind shop old baking equipment.
