GV II
Pair of houses, with ground floor office to one. C18, with mid C19 features.
Walls of painted brickwork in Flemish bond. Tile roof, hipped at the west end,
with catslide at rear. Wide north elevation of regular arrangement; two storeys
four windows. Upper casements, ground-floor splayed bays beneath a continuous
tiled canopy. Plain doorways.
Note: No.1 to The Retreat forms an irregular terrace.
