Early to mid C19 building on corner with East Street. 3 storeys colour
washed brick. Low pitch gable end slate roof, shallow eaves bend. 1
window front. Tripartite 2nd floor window, centre sash only with glaz-
ing bars, multiple keystone stucco flat arch, thin block sill. 1st floor
has canted bay inserted below similar flat arch, no glazing bars. Frieze
and cornice. Ground floor has Victorian shop front modernised but retain-
ing 1 panelled pilaster and cornice with elaborate iron cresting returned
to side on East Street. This south front has 3 sash windows, glazing
bars intact, and a 2 storey round headed stair light sash, the glazing
bars radiating at top. The premises are continued on this front by a
2 storey red brick building slightly earlier in date. 2 windows, 1 blind,
recessed tripartite sashes, glazing bars intact, flat brick-arches.
2 doorways. One partly blocked but with rectangular fanlight and panelled
reveals. The other of 6 fielded panels with tall rectangular fanlight.
