GV II

Purpose built Smithy. Mid C19. Red brick with stone quoins and dressings,
plain tiled roof, forge stack to left end. One storey with 1 1/2 storey gabled
cross-wing to left; cross-wing has depressed 2 centred head arch to cart entry,
above is a horse shoe picked out in blue brick enclosing a defaced inscription,
and in the gable is a 2-light casement. One storey range: two 3-light casements
with internal arrow headed bars; central door with depressed 2 centred head of
stone, door: stable door with strap hinges with trefoil terminals and large
medieval style door handle. Forge stack corbelled out from left return front.
