House. C16, possibly earlier, C20 alterations and additions. Timber-framed,
painted brick infill, sandstone plinth, brick stacks, C20 tiled roof half-
hipped to south. Four framed bays aligned north/south facing east, rear C20
brick extension to west forming L-plan. Entrance now in angle of L; end
stacks to earlier north/south range. Single storey and attic; east front,
C20 skylight and gabled dormer with 2-light glazing bar casement to north
of centre, two irregularly sized 3-light casement windows to ground floor.
Framing appears largely complete, though altered; cruck truss revealed in
south gable end, one further similar truss reputed to be intact in interior;
irregularly spaced square panels generally two and three panels from sill to
wall-plate.
