4/175 The Twerne Lodge

GV II

House. Probably late C17 or C18. Sandstone rubble plinth, timber-frame
with brick and plaster infill, two side stacks, one towards corner. Three
structural bays. One storey and attic, two windows, 2-light C20 casements,
three to ground floor and two in gabled C20 dormers; central C20 door.
Frame is two panels from plinth to wall-plate with diagonal struts near
door (RCHM Vol II, p 157).
