4/162 Granary about 20 yards
east of Hazle Farmhouse

GV II

Granary. Probably C18. Sandstone rubble with brick dressings and tiled
roof. Two bays aligned roughly north/south. Two levels, two windows,
segmentally-headed ground-floor openings with wooden mullions to east side;
south gable has ground floor entrance with semi-circular head, the arch and
jambs of which are of moulded brick, above is an entrance formerly reached
by tallet stairs and to the left a low entry into catslide roofed extension
to west side. Interior: king-posts with angle struts to principals.
