House, now shop. Probably C17, refronted late C18, with some late C20
alterations. Probably timber-frame clad in painted brick, tile roof, gable
end stack. Three storeys, dentilled brick cornice, two windows: glazing
bar sashes under segmental heads; second floor: 6-pane fixed casements;
ground floor: pilastered shop front with flat canopy, 2-pane shop window
to right, entrance to left has a 2-pane overlight and a glazed door; to
left-hand corner entrance to a passage has a ledged and boarded door.
Interior: in rear wing open well staircase with turned balusters and closed
string; some areas of small square panelling with frieze; to front first
floor room exposed beams, chamfered and stopped.
