7/211 Ley Fold Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse; late C18; painted brick, variation on English garden
wall bond: tiled roof. 4-window front, irregularly spaced: 2
storeys and attic. 6-panel front door under second window from
left, lowest panels flush, upper glazed: panelled reveals, plain
timber surround, flat hood on brackets. Windows, cambered brick-
on-end heads; 3-light timber casements, iron opening light with
hooks. Elliptical head to cellar window to left of front door:
to right a window, with beyond door with 2-light window beyond.
Plain string course above, four 3-light windows to first floor.
Projecting gable chimney left, gable rendered: lateral chimney on
right. Lean-to to half rear, later wing parallel to front other
half.
