Barn. Late C16 W part, late C17 E part. Timber frame on red brick sill,
white weatherboarded on S, rear (N) side roughcast on road side. Steep,
hipped thatch roof. A long barn with low side-walls and tall roof.
3-bays at W have jowled posts and curved brace to cambered tie-beam with
large internal brick chimney inserted in 3rd bay from W and C18 leaded
casement windows to convert it to a coachman's house. E part of 6
narrower bays has central double doors under raised eaves, and several
stable doors and small windows. Unjowled posts and curved tension
braces. Inclined queen-strut clasped purlin roof.
