Late C18 red brick house of a basement and 3 storey. Facade of unbroken
surface up to a moulded stone cornice below a plain parapet, which masks
the roof. 5 window in plain reveals, those of the ground floor having
been re-glazed with four large panes. Four stone steps lead up to a pedimented
doorcase of classical design, with semi-engaged Ionic columns framing
a round-headed alcove, within which hangs the door (four fielded panels
in upper half) and a fanlight. Iron railings and an iron gate enclose
the house; spear and urn finials.

Nos 41 to 43 (consec) form a group together with front railings and gate
to No 42 front railings to No 43.
