Late C16, plastered timber frame. Old red tile steep pitched roof, slated at rear.
Two storeys. West elevation has jettied first floor with C19 casements and 3 jettied
gables, north gable with C19 iron sign. Central C19 double door with consoled cornice
and flanking late C18 canted window bays. South elevation has exposed half-timbering
with carpenter's marks, and 3 bay timberframed east extension, modern plastered. C19
extension further east: red brick and weatherboarded storerooms of 2 pitched roofs,
old red and concrete tile. Interior has much exposed timber frame. (RCHM (1911) 65).
