Aisled barn. "Built 1787 E Fossey F" on tie beam facing central bay.
Timber frame, weatherboarded, slate roof. 5 bays. Original entrance in
central bay. C20 entrance and 2 windows in W gable end wall. Straight
tie beams are re-used posts with trenches for lap joints. Struts to
clasped purlins, lightly jowled posts. Wall plates also re-used with
mortices for close studding. Longitudinal and lateral bracing of arcade
plates to posts and tie beams to posts.
