1907 by Percival Blow. 2 storeys, 6 windows, flint, with random red
and yellow bricks, red brick parapet, stone dressings. Stepped buttresses
with stone quoins, diagonal at corners. Stone plinth with moulded coping
above brick lower plinth as in Gatehouse itself.
Perpendicular style windows with tracery on both floors, those on 1st floor
with 4-centred arches, those on ground floor flat-arched. Stone panels
between ground and 1st floor windows. A bridge at 1st floor level leads
north to another block. Rear elevation has cornice and battlemented
parapet, stepped buttresses between windows which are all mullioned
casements of 2, 3 and 4 lights, under hoodmoulds. Stone quoins at angles.

The Abbey Gate and St Alban's School buildings form a group.
