C16, T-shaped building of timber construction with overhanging upper storey.
2 storeys, 2 windows. High pitched, tiled roofs. Rectangular chimney
stack on ridge with 4 diagonal shafts. Cement rendered 1st floor.
Ground floor plastered, with pargeted decoration between windows, brick
plinth. Restored sash windows. Late C16 plaster ceiling in 1st floor
front room, with stylized roses, crowns and fleurs-de-lys among raised
borders.

Nos 37 to 41A (odd) form a group.
