1459/7/10002 Reckitt Hall, The
Lawns.

GV II*

Hall of residence. 1963-67. Gillespie, Kidd and Coia. Brown
brick with painted timber windows; flat roofs. Three storeys
plus basement. Of roughly triangular plan but with the sides
broken and staggered. Walls obliquely angled, and windows to
student rooms set back behind balconies, and set orthogonally.
Thick brick balustrades to balconies, with narrow gap below.
Vertical brick on edge marks floor and roof slabs and the
lower edge of the balustrades. Reckitt Hall forms an integral
part of The Lawns planned layout.
