Lodge to Hesslewood, now a house. Mid C19. White brick with stone
dressings, slate roof. Square plan with C20 extension to rear: single
storey with attics. Symmetrical elevation: central 3-panel door in
projecting pilastered porch flanked to right and left by unequal sashes with
margin-pane glazing in architraves. Deep overhanging eaves on paired timber
brackets. 2-light casements in pedimented roof dormers. Pyramidal roof,
central stack.
