5/41 Tack room and dog kennel
approximately 40 metres
- north of Cleatham Hall

GV II

Tack room and adjacent dog kennel. Probably mid C19. Tack room of squared
limestone with yellow brick dressings, slate roof. Square on plan.
6-fielded panel door under segmental brick arch. Hipped roof with ashlar
ball finial. Kennel of yellow brick with ashlar coping, cast-iron railings
and slate roof. Square on plan, with open yard in front of kennel. Stone-
coped dwarf wall with railings adjoining tack room; corner pier to left.
Round-arched kennel entrance to rear of yard. Stone-coped left return wall
with plank door. Included for group value.
