Terrace of 3 houses, part of same terrace as No.393 (qv). Late
C18. Red brick in Flemish bond. Plain tiled roof, each with
stack on right, Nos 395 and 397 brick, No.399 rendered. Each 2
storeys, attic and basement, 2 bays. Each has 5 stone steps
with flanking attached railings approaching recessed 6-fielded
panel door, upper panels glazed, panelled reveals, flanking
narrow pilasters and cut pediment. On right of No.395 early
C19 tripartite canted bay, centre sash and narrow flanking
sashes, pilasters divide lights, frieze and moulded cornice,
apron below. On right of Nos 397 and 399 2 sashes, No.397
12-pane. Each has 2 first-floor sashes, Nos 395 and 397 have
12-pane sashes. Brick dentil band course with stone cap, stone
coped parapet. Hipped dormer to each with 6-pane sash.
