House and attached railings. c1820-50 with later additions and
alterations. Stucco over brick with concealed roof and left
end stack; iron railings. Double depth plan with service range
to rear.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys with basement, 3 first-floor windows. 6/6
sashes where original, taller to ground floor, in plain
reveals and with sills. Ground floor has canted bay with
casement windows. Entrance at right has Doric pilastered porch
with frieze and cornice, 4-panel door with fanlight with
glazing bars.
INTERIOR: reputed to have marble fireplaces, embellished
cornices and Regency narrow-open-well staircase.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: lancet area railings and to sides of
porch.
