Farmhouse. Circa early C18, possibly with an earlier core. Whitewashed and
rendered, slate roof hipped at ends, rendered stack at left end, large projecting
stack with set-offs at right end. U-plan house, the main range 1« rooms deep, 2-
rooms wide with a central passage, the rear wings to left and right may be C19
additions for service rooms. The scale of the right-hand stack suggests that the
present building may be a remodelling of a C17 house. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-
window front with regular fenestration, central porch with a sloping slate roof
carried on stone cheeks. Ground floor windows 3-light casements, 3 panes per light,
the right-hand window slightly larger and lower set. First floor windows left and
right 3-light casements, 2 panes per light, middle window similar 2-light casement.
Interior chamfered cross beam to ground floor right, some C18 joinery details.
