3 houses forming part of a long row. Late C17 core remodelled in mid-C19. Cob,
stone plinth, plastered, all under a single slate roof; 1 axial stack and another
breaking the front slope of the roof. 2 storeys.
Front: 4-window range, with 3 doors, those to nos. 26 and 28 under porches with
canopies on shaped brackets, and a wagon entrance serving no. 24. 2-light horned
sash windows to no. 24. 2-light hornless sash windows to no. 24; C20 metal
casement windows to nos. 26 and 28. Skylights added to no. 26.
Interior: Chamfered, unstopped cross beam to no. 24; C18 roof to no. 28, with sawn
timbers, halved and pegged. To the rear of no. 26 is a C19 2-storeyed outbuilding,
cob, rendered, under slate, gabled-end roof; retains 1 badly damaged 2-light window
with some leaded panes. Nos. 24, 26 and 28 are included for group value.
