Battishill headstone approximately 0.5 metres south of nave of Church of St Michael

(Formerly listed as located 500m south of the nave)

Headstone. Dated 1712 in memory of William Battishill. Granite.
Upright round-headed slab standing approximately 600mm. On the front the head is carved with a
winged cherubs head over an inscription of Roman serif upper and lower case
lettering which records the death of William Battishill in 1712.
