6/122 Anonymous chest tomb approximately
- 4 metres north-west of aisle of
Church of St Michael
GV II

Chest tomb. Probably late C16 or early C17. Granite ashlar. Each side contains
a 3-bay blind arcade of round-headed niches and there is 1 similar niche each end.
Inscribed voussoirs around each head. Large soffit-moulded lid. If there were an
inscription on the lid it has now worn away.
