Barn and shippen
immediately north west
of Higher Luson

Barn with shippen below. Circa C18. Stone rubble. Slate roof with hipped and
half-hipped ends. Two storeys. Shippen on ground floor with flat stone arched
doorways, one has red brick surround. Barn loft above with ventilation slits and
with C20 wooden stairs to double doors at centre. Two raking stone rubble buttresses
to left hand. Circa C19 stone rubble rear to on right hand (east) end. Included for
group value.
