House. C15 altered and extended probably C17 and restored late C20.Timber framed
and exposed with plaster infill with stone base and plain tiled roof. Wealden hall
house of 3 bays extended to left and with single 2 storey jettied bay to right. Two
storeys with large panel frame and tension braces on plinth with jetty to right on
brackets, the recessed eaves line carried over central bays on arched brace to right
and on near flat coving, more pronounced in additional left end bays, which have
smaller and later panelled frame. Ripped roof with stack cluster to centre left.
Four 2 light wooden casements on first floor, with framing evidence of hall window
in right hand hall bay, and three 3 light casements on ground floor with rib and
stud door to centre left in arched surround.
