Detached cottage. C18. Rendered, thatched roof. Asymmetrical front to former
cross-passage L-plan, but with bay added to left. Two storeys, 3 windows; outer
bays have 2-light casements with horizontal bars, middle bay 3-light, all these
C19 but ground floor centre is deeper than remainder, probably later. Between
bays 2 and 3, centred on original front, a plank door on 3 steps, under thatched
hood. Gable stack, left, and ridge stack, left of centre bay; stack at right
end has been cut back. Former back wing also cut back. Interior has rebuilt
fireplace to large stone lintel to centre room, chamfered joists; a second
bressumer fire, right. New staircase. One timber framed wall at first floor,
right end. Roof not seen.
