Flight of steps
immediately south of
St Bartholomew's Church

GV II


Flight of steps in churchyard on path to south porch. Circa mid C19 and possibly
contemporary with William Butterfield's rebuilding of the church. Ashlar. Wide
flight of steps in three stages with solid stone balustrade on either side with
saddle-back coping. The top flight is slightly narrower. Stone benches set into the
balustrade on the top landing. Included for group value.
