garden railings

GV II

House and attached railings. 1766 with later alterations. Pebble dashed brick
with painted stone dressings and red plain tile roof with large central brick
ridge stack. Two storeys, 3 bays, lobby entrance plan. Plinth, 2 course first
floor bond and stepped eaves band. Central C20 glazed door flanked by C20 cross
casement windows. 2 similar over and central circular window with radial glazing
in moulded surround. All openings, except the latter, have wedge lintels with
incised voussoirs, and double keystone. Dated beam in roof inscribed '1766'.
Attached railings to front of house have arrow finials to rails and iron finials
to standards.
