Shaw Lane Cottage

GV II

Cottage. C17. Rubble limestone with sandstone dressings. Plain tile roof
with a brick ridge stack and a brick gable end stack. Low, two storeys. South
east elevation - doorway on the left with wooden lintel and half-glazed door.
To the right a window with chamfered stone surround. To the right again, a
narrower window with chamfered stone surround. To the right again, a window
formerly a doorway. To the first floor, a window with chamfered stone surround,
on the left,and a larger C20 window to the right. Included for group value only.
