The Cottage

II

Pair of cottages (now one dwelling). C18. Coursed rubble limestone with
sandstone dressings. Plain tile roof with brick ridge stack and gable end stack.
Two storeys. South elevation right to left, 2-light square section flush mullion
window with casement lights and similar window above. Blocked doorway with lintel,
and doorway with lintel and C20 glazed door immediately adjoining. To the left,
a 3-light chamfer mullion window and to the left again a window with dressed
stone surround and sliding Yorkshire sash. Two windows, irregularly placed,
above with dressed stone surround and Yorkshire sliding sash.
