Road bridge. c1840, for the North Midland Railway Company.
Coursed squared coal measures sandstone with ashlar dressings.
East elevation with two flat segmental arches, each with
voussoirs and projecting keyblocks. Bold roll moulding to arch
head continues to abutment ends, which are stepped and slightly
splayed. Rock-faced masonry to shallow parapet and broad plain
ashlar coping. Central pier with domed and pointed cutwater.
Brick linings to arches. The bridge spans the River Rother.
