House. Early C18 and mid C18 with mid C20 alterations. Gritstone ashlar and
coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings and chamfered quoins. Stone
slate and C20 concrete tile roofs with stone gable end stacks. Stone coped gables
with plain kneelers, topped by ball finials. Plinth and coved eaves cornice to
early C18 section, additional plain eaves band to mid C18 section. Early C18
house to east three storeys, three bays, attached to west, mid C18 addition of
two storeys, and two bays. Eastern section has plain doorcase with raised jambs to
sides, supporting bracketed stone hood and C18 panelled door. To either side
glazing bar sashes in flush surrounds with raised fillets to edges. Two similar over
with fixed glazing bar light in moulded surround over door. Above central circular
window in moulded surround. To either side, shallow uneven glazing bar sashes in
similar surrounds to those below. To west, mid C18 wing with early C20 canted bay
to centre with glazing bar sashes in raised surrounds to all sides. To either side
of bay, similar sashes. Above, two similar.
