II

Chapel 1806. Rendered stone with gritstone dressings. Stone plinth. stone
slate roof with bracketed-eaves. Slate roof to western lean-to. Two bays,
single storey. Steps up to central semi-circular headed doorcase, with double
doors and traceried fanlight. To either side semi-circular headed glazing bar
sashes in ashlar surrounds. Beyond to west, similar smaller window in lean-to.
Above pedimented gable set on corner blocks, containing central stone plaque
with concave corners inscribed 'The Methodist Chapel AD 1806'. Rear, street,
elevation has two tall semi-circular headed small pane windowswith similar smaller
window and semi-circular headed door to western lean-to.
