ST 82 SW MARGARET MARSH

3/77 Gore Farmhouse

Farmhouse, C16 with Cl8 and Cl9 alterations. Coursed squared rubble
and brick with brick stacks to ends of ranges. 2 storeys, 5 window
range. 2 right bays are a Cl9 addition. Variety of fenestration;
2 and 3-light casements with horizontal glazing bars; sashes with
vertical glazing bars. Cl9 wooden lattice porch. Part-glazed,
panelled door. Interior features (RCHM): Ceilings with intersecting,
moulded beams and wall plates; central through passage, now blocked;
blocked open fireplaces. Eaves raised in brick.
