Cottages, C17 with mid-C18 additions. Whitewashed rubble and brick (Flemish bond),
thatched roof with half-hipped ends. Stacks at right end and at centre of left cottage.
L-plan with half-hipped gable facing the road to the right. 2 storey, 4 window
range. 2, 3 and 4-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars. Leaded-
lights in 2 left window ranges. Timber and C20 steel lintels. Internally there
is a deep chamfered beam and a heavy wooden doorframe in the kitchen of No 85.
