GV II
Farmhouse. Probably early to mid C18. Roughcast stone with stone slate and
slate roof. West elevation of 2 storeys and 3 bays; single-storey lean-to
outhouse to south return. Square windows have slightly chamfered reveals and
are sashed with horns; 2 windows to ground floor of 1st bay, that to 3rd bay
ground floor is rectangulary. Central entrance has half-glazed door. Coped
gables with kneelers, and gable-end stacks. North return has 2 attic lights.
Rear has gabled wing, coped with kneeler to north; later 2-storey outshut under
catslide roof to north. South return of wing has 2 square windows, one sashed,
and plain entrance, north return has 2 windows of 2 lights with recessed
flat-faced mullions, attic light. Gable has 2 attic lights and squat stack;
cross-axial stack. Outshut has 2-light window and sashed window to south.
