GV II*

House, early C18, extended in C19. Plum brick with dressings of red brick,
roofed with handmade red clay tiles. Square plan, aspect SE, with side chimney
stacks. 3-storey block to W, C19, and single-storey ancillary building with
hipped roof to N. 2 storeys with attics. Central door with fielded panels,
rectangular light over with geometrical tracery, wooden doorcase with
naturalistic carving of fruit and foliage on jambs and brackets, pulvinated
frieze, flat hood. 3 semi-circular stone steps with moulded nosings. 4 double-
hung sash windows of 12 lights on ground floor, 5 on first floor, with cased
frames, jambs and flat arches of red brick. String course at first floor level.
Parapet with stone coping. 3 flat-roofed dormers with casement windows.
Cellar.
